The Emotional Culture Deck (ECD) started as a game to enrich cultures with the connection to personal emotions and is now a system of specialist pathways exploring culture, change, leadership and stakeholder engagement with emotions.

Rich Batchelor, Founder and Chief Change Agent at Capillary, was the first certified ECD Consultant in the Americas. Over the years he has used the ECD to explore a range of cultural strengths and challenges across multiple delivery spaces. International financial organizations, non profits, technology startups, government/public services, sports and manufacturing have all had the ECD experience.

Since 2025, Rich is delivering in person practitioner training courses, starting off the journeys for those who want to embrace ECD potential within their organizations or practice and deliver workshops and learning moments as part of their own approach to change, leadership, culture and stakeholder engagement.
