Becoming a Change Leader requires more than just demonstrating control and issuing orders for the change ahead. Developing your skills to successfully lead change now and into the future requires deep understanding of many drivers for the human side of change in organizations.
The qualification is achieved through attendance at a workshop that explores those deeper change needs and is awarded on successful completion of an evidence based written assignment, demonstrating the application of the learning.
Day 1: Change Strategy
Explore the drivers for change at a strategic level within organizations, focusing on the dynamic relationship of cause and effect for change events in every organization. The focus will be on defining change strategy, mergers & acquisitions and the role of culture in organizations.
Day 2: Change Delivery
Reflecting on the effects of change, leadership expectations and the modern world we work within, the focus of this day is the relationship of Agile and change, preparing for disruptive change through an exploration of VUCA and how to build successful change agent networks in your organization. Significant group exercises and situational analysis will be used throughout the day.
Lego Serious Play® activities, videos and hands on tool building will be undertaken by all participants.At the end of day 2 you will work with 2 or 3 others in the workshop, to prepare and deliver a short presentation demonstrating the approach developed for a chosen or given change.
It is expected that attendees of this course have either successfully completed their Certified Change Agent qualification or have at least 8 years experience if delivering a diverse range of change initiatives.
Typical attendees will be individuals undertaking change development, delivery and adoption within their organization or for an organization, where they have responsibility for the successful delivery of the change and its adoption by those affected. Full time Change Management Practitioners, Project Leads, Directors and VPs for Strategy, Projects and Initiatives, Senior Change Consultants and those seeking to take a leadership role to move change forward will particularly benefit from this program.
